You can make instant Greek sweet dumplings with a 100% success rate, and serve them with honey and crushed walnuts or even with ice cream.


Μode of preparation
• In a large bowl, mix the loukoumades mixture with the yeast in the tin. Add 300g (1 1/2 cups of tea) of warm water and beat the mixture until smooth and thick porridge.
• Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm corner (about 45 minutes).

• Cook the loukoumades until golden brown and place them on a plate lined with absorbent paper to drain.
Serve the donuts hot with honey and cinnamon, or with a syrup of 1 flitz. teaspoon of honey, sugar and water flavored with cinnamon, clove peel and orange or lemon zest.
