Mastiha Growers Association is a cooperative since 1938 in Chios, Greece. As an entity, it has undertaken the exclusive management of natural mastiha in Greece and abroad.Mastiha (Gum Mastic) is known for its beneficial properties in human well being. It covers various applications in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics & food industries. It has been qualified as Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) products and inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.Also, EMA monograph is assigned for two indications:stomach disorders & wound healing while EFSA is on pending.

Chios Mastiha: It is used in pharmaceuticals, perfumes, cosmetics, beverages, bakery goods, sweets as well as in cooking.
