Music CD "Genesis" - Giorgos Volikas

The first personal CD '' Genesis '' by composer Giorgos Volikas, will be distributed in Italy, by the Hellenic Institute of Culture in Milan (www.istitutoellenicodicultura.com)

The income from this cd will be donated to the aforementioned Cultural Institute, for social, cultural and educational reasons (price / cd: € 10 minimum offer).

A brief summary about G.Volikas: Giorgos Volikas was born on 25 September 1991 and is a Greek composer. His first so-called "Genesis", with ten of his instrumental compositions, has been released in Greece, Istanbul, Germany, Armenia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Cyprus, Australia, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the United States. The melody and the piano are the protagonists in his music! His compositions have been broadcast by radio and television stations in the Americas, Australia, Canada and Europe, while the National Herald newspapers in New York, Montreal Greek Times in Montreal, Cosmos in Sydney and "China Greece Times" (Greek newspaper -Chinese), emphasized the composer's work.

Giorgos Volikas presented his live compositions at the "Megaron" the Athens Concert Hall, at the "La Xanthi di Manos Hadjidakis" Festival, at the Aegean Arts International Festival in Crete, at the Poros Arts Festival, as well as having composed music for theatrical performances and for the official advertising campaign of the “The Good Samaritan - Abuse of Woman and Child” Association.

The composition of “Genesis” accompanied part of the television show “Con Virtù e Coraggio” on the Hellenic State TV ERT-1, directed by Tasos Birsim. His "belief" is that "the creator does not choose the moment of inspiration, but it is the inspiration that chooses if and when to get to the creator".
